Grand Canyon is located in Arizona, United States. Even if it might be the most famous canyon in the world it is not the world’s longest nor deepest gorge. The deepest and widest canyon in the world is called Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon and can be found in the Himalayas. However, it is not even the widest canyon in the world, which is Capertee Valley in Australia. Up to now scientists don’t agree on how it formed.
