The Nockalm road is a 35 kilometres long alpine toll road in Carinthia, Austria, that runs between Innerkrems in the north and Ebene Reichenau in the south. The Nockalm road was completed in 1981 and winds up and down through 52 bends and offers amazing views of the Nockberge and the largest stone pine forest in the Eastern Alps, for example. The highest point of the Nockalm road is called “Eisentalhöhe” and is located at an altitude of 2.042 metres above sea level. During winter (from November to April) the Nockalm road is closed.
