St Kilda is a suburb of the City of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. The area is not only known for its amusement park and Fitzroy Street, but also for its beachside promenade including St Kilda Beach. Named after Lady of St Kilda, a schooner which landed at the main beach in 1841. St Kilda Beach is Melbourne’s most famous beach. It is about 700 metres long and home to St Kilda Pier.
