Located on a headland east of Seal Rocks Village, New South Wales, Australia, Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse is the first lighthouse designed by architect James Barnet. Furthermore it is one of only two towers with an external stairway. Although the coast being illuminated by the lighthouse, 20 wrecks have occurred since it was completed in 1875. Below the lighthouse the Lighthouse Keepers’ house can be found. Nowadays it is used as holiday accommodation for visitors.
