Laguna Verde is Spanish and means Green Lake. It is located not far from Laguna Colorada in the southwestern Altiplano of Bolivia. However, you will never know which colours Laguna Verde will show you because the colours of the lake area depending on sun and wind.
Laguna Colorada is also known as Red Lagoon. The name derives from its red colour which is caused by red sediments and pigmentation of some algas. The red colour causes a quite terrific scene. Laguna Colorada is located in the southwest of the altiplano of Bolivia.
