The Gartnerkofel is, together with the Trogkofel and the Rosskofel, one of three distinctive mountains in the Naßfeld-area in Carinthia, Austria. It is located on the main chain of the Carnic Alps above the Naßfeld Pass. The Gartnerkofel has two summits, the north-peak – its highest point – at 2.195 metres above sea level and the smaller south-peak at 2.154 metres. The area around the Gartnerkofel is known for its sediments from the Carboniferous period and the slopes of the Gartnerkofel are the only place where the Wulfenia carinthiaca plant grows in the wild. The peak of the Gartnerkofel can be reached via various ways, including the Däumling via ferrata.
