Great Sandy National Park is part of the Fraser Coast Region in Queensland, Australia. With a size of over 74.400 hectares it stretches from Noosa Heads to Fraser Island and encompasses almost all of Fraser Island, the world’s largest sand island. Untouched beaches, rainforests, large sand dunes, freshwater lakes and mangrove forests as well as the shipwreck of the SS Maheno can be found within the national park.
