Hanalei Bay is part of the island of Kaua’i, Hawaii, United States. It is at about 3 miles long and is therefore the largest bay on Kaua’i. The bay is bordered by a white sand beach which is located between Hanalai River and Waipa River. Hanalei means “crescent bay” in Hawaiian. Hanalai Pier was built to help Hanalai farmers to move their rice crops to the market in Honolulu.
